Chloé Fauchon of the Parti Québécois holds the highest implied probability at 61% in trader consensus for the Louis-Hébert seat in the October 5, 2026 Quebec general election. The riding, previously held by retiring CAQ incumbent Geneviève Guilbault, features a competitive matchup with CAQ candidate Marc-Antoine Bernier at 43%, alongside lower probabilities for QS’s Anne-Sophie Roy, PCQ’s Marcos Archambault, and Liberal Richard Bélanger. Recent developments include the August 27 writ drop and ongoing nomination period ending September 17, amid provincial polling trends favoring PQ gains in Capitale-Nationale ridings through emphasis on housing affordability, public services, and sovereignty messaging. Traders appear to weigh Fauchon’s profile as a public-interest lawyer against Bernier’s continuity with the governing party in a seat projected as a close PQ-CAQ contest by models like 338Canada.
