Latest National Weather Service forecasts project a high near 104°F for Dallas on August 26 under mostly sunny skies, with a west-northwest wind shift potentially moderating afternoon peaks while heat indices reach 107–109°F. Persistent high pressure and dry air from the ongoing heat wave support temperatures well above the 95°F climatological average, though recent model runs show minor cooling from prior days when records hit 109°F. Trader consensus clustering around the 100–103°F bins reflects uncertainty in exact peak readings due to local variability and forecast spread, with 104–105°F as a close alternative. New NWS updates and observational data tomorrow morning will refine resolution criteria for this daily maximum.
