Latest National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas/Fort Worth on September 10 indicate a high near 100°F under sunny conditions with a 30-40% afternoon thunderstorm chance that could slightly moderate peak readings. Persistent high pressure, southerly winds, and elevated dew points supporting heat indices above 105°F align with the market's strong consensus on 98-99°F, which exceeds the 1991-2020 climatological average of 91°F. Recent model runs show limited variability, with any scattered convection or cloud cover the main factor that could shift outcomes toward 96-97°F or hold near 100-101°F. Official observations from DFW International Airport will determine final resolution.
