Official National Weather Service forecasts for Miami on September 9 project a high near 89°F under partly sunny skies, with a 40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms driven by easterly flow and typical late-summer moisture. This aligns with the 89.7°F climatological average and recent model consensus showing modest cooling from cloud cover and scattered convection rather than full insolation. East winds of 5–11 mph and high humidity (dew points near 78°F) support heat indices above 100°F but limit peak readings, consistent with the past week’s 89–92°F daily maxima. Traders assign 69.5% implied probability to the 90–91°F bin and 22.5% to 88–89°F, reflecting uncertainty around exact storm timing and intensity. The market resolves on official Miami International Airport observations once September 9 data are finalized.
