**Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model consensus point to a sunny but moderating day for Los Angeles on September 10, with highs near 87°F at LAX and potentially reaching the low-to-mid 90s downtown or inland, amid lingering high pressure and residual moisture from former Hurricane Marie.** This follows several days of extreme heat, including 92–99°F readings at LAX on September 8–9, which has kept trader attention on outcomes clustered around 90–94°F. Key variables include the precise steering of onshore flow, afternoon sea-breeze timing, and microclimate differences across the basin that can shift the daily maximum by several degrees. Updated NWS guidance and any late-morning observations will be the primary near-term catalysts as the market resolves.
