Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate a high near 89°F in Miami on August 30 amid likely afternoon showers and thunderstorms driven by persistent easterly flow and sea-breeze convergence. Cloud cover and convection are expected to limit peak solar heating, keeping readings in the upper 80s to low 90s rather than allowing full August climatological potential near 90-92°F. This consensus underpins the market's leading 90-91°F and 92-93°F outcomes at combined 69% implied probability, while the 21.5% share for 88-89°F reflects uncertainty over storm timing and coverage that could further cap the daily maximum. Updated model runs and NWS briefings through the morning will refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
