Current NOAA/National Weather Service forecasts and ensemble model consensus point to a Monday high near 75–76°F in New York City after Sunday’s heavy rain clears, supporting the evenly distributed market-implied odds across the 72–84°F bins. Post-frontal northwest flow, modest boundary-layer mixing, and variable afternoon cloud cover introduce realistic 3–5°F uncertainty in peak readings, while climatological September baselines around 73–77°F provide limited additional constraint this close to the date. Traders appear to price in the full plausible range from official guidance rather than converging on a single outcome ahead of updated model runs and the final 48-hour forecast.
