Recent forecast model runs from agencies including Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau indicate daily highs in Taipei on September 3 are most likely to reach 30–32°C, producing the tight clustering of market-implied odds around those thresholds. Typical early-September conditions feature a weakening monsoon trough, variable steering flows, and urban heat-island effects that can add 1–2°C locally, while any passing cloud cover or brief showers could cap the peak. Ensemble spreads remain modest but highlight sensitivity to small shifts in humidity and wind, with official updates expected daily through the resolution window. Historical climatology places early-September maxima near 31°C, underscoring why traders assign only minimal probability to outcomes below 29°C or above 33°C.
