**Forecasts from the National Weather Service and major models indicate the overnight low in Dallas on September 2 will likely settle in the mid-to-upper 70s°F, driven by persistent southerly flow, elevated Gulf moisture from an approaching tropical system, and limited nocturnal cooling under partly cloudy skies with scattered shower chances.** This setup keeps temperatures above the late-summer climatological average of ~74.5°F while suppressing any rapid drop. Trader consensus, reflected in the elevated implied probabilities for the 76–81°F range, aligns with the latest model guidance showing lows near 77°F, though slight variations in cloud cover, rainfall timing, or wind could shift the exact minimum within that band. No significant cold front or drier air mass is expected to arrive before the overnight period, maintaining the warm bias. Updated NWS briefings and model runs through the evening of September 1 will provide the final inputs ahead of market resolution.
