Forecast models from sources including the National Weather Service indicate a high in the mid-90s for Dallas on September 2, driven by southeasterly flow, abundant moisture, and a 40% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms that could limit peak heating through cloud cover or evaporative cooling. Historical climatology shows an average high of 93.4°F, with recent analogs featuring similar late-summer patterns yielding 92–97°F. Trader consensus clusters on 94–97°F because model runs differ modestly on convective timing and boundary-layer mixing, introducing uncertainty around the precise daily maximum while ruling out extremes below 90°F or above 100°F under current guidance. Updated short-range forecasts and radar trends over the next 24 hours will refine resolution criteria for this narrow temperature band.
