**Current forecasts from multiple sources, including NWS-aligned models, indicate overnight lows in the mid-70s for Dallas on September 26, driven by persistent southerly flow, elevated dew points near 65°F, and limited nocturnal radiative cooling under partly cloudy skies.** This aligns with the ongoing above-normal warmth across North Texas, where September averages have run 8–10°F above climatological norms amid a strong subtropical ridge. Trader sentiment remains closely split between a sharp cold-front arrival (pushing lows to 65°F or below) and continued heat retention (84°F+), reflecting model spread in steering patterns and frontal timing over the next 48 hours. Key variables include wind shifts, cloud-cover evolution, and any revisions in GFS or ECMWF runs expected before resolution. Historical September 26 lows average 66°F, underscoring how current conditions deviate from baseline.
