Recent National Weather Service and model guidance indicate Atlanta's September 24 high will likely fall in the low-to-mid 70s, aligning with market-implied odds favoring 72-73°F. An easterly wind flow and associated cloud cover are limiting daytime heating after recent warmer conditions, with forecast highs dropping from the upper 80s earlier in the week. Multiple runs show modest model spread around the 72-75°F range, driven by uncertainty in exact cloud thickness and any light precipitation timing. Historical late-September averages near 80°F provide context for the cooler anomaly, while traders weigh the narrow window for last-minute forecast shifts before resolution.
