Current National Weather Service forecasts for Austin indicate a low in the mid-70s on September 4 amid persistent late-summer heat, southerly flow, and only slight afternoon storm chances, keeping overnight cooling limited. Model consensus and recent observations show little deviation from this pattern, though minor shifts in humidity, cloud cover, or wind could alter the exact minimum by a few degrees. Historical averages near 71°F provide context, yet the spread in market-implied odds across 70–79°F bins reflects trader uncertainty over short-term variables like dew points and any last-minute steering changes ahead of the 24–48 hour forecast updates.
