This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Buckley Space Force Base Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 28 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kbkf This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Trader sentiment for Denver’s lowest temperature on August 28, 2026, centers on the 64–69 °F range, with the 64–65 °F and 66–67 °F bins each at 33.5 % and 68–69 °F at 27.5 %.** These probabilities reflect late-August climatology at Denver’s ~5,280 ft elevation, where clear or partly cloudy skies and light winds promote strong nocturnal radiative cooling after daytime highs near 93–95 °F. Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and ensemble guidance consistently project an overnight minimum in the low-to-mid 60s, driven by dew points near 50 °F and minimal cloud cover that allows efficient long-wave heat loss. The tight clustering around 64–67 °F stems from small but consequential differences in model guidance on exact timing of the minimum (typically just before sunrise), local station variations between Denver International Airport and downtown sensors, and uncertainty over any residual evening clouds or weak southeasterly flow that could modestly limit cooling. Lower-probability outcomes below 62 °F would require stronger radiative conditions or drier air than currently expected, while warmer readings above 69 °F would need increased low-level moisture or wind mixing—scenarios not favored by current observations or short-range models. As the night progresses, updated observational data from the official reporting station will narrow the distribution before market resolution.
