**Current National Weather Service and private forecast guidance for Denver on August 29 points to a high in the low-to-mid 90s under partly cloudy skies with a modest chance of afternoon thunderstorms.** Model consensus from sources including NWS Denver/Boulder, WeatherBug, and international ensembles clusters around 90–93 °F, consistent with the market’s leading 92–93 °F bin at 43 % implied probability and the 94–95 °F bin at 25.5 %. Recent observed highs (91–93 °F on August 27–28) and a dry, moderately unstable airmass support these values, while light southwesterly flow and high solar angles favor peak temperatures near the upper end of the 90–96 °F guidance range. Traders appear to be pricing in the limited upside risk from stronger heating or suppressed convection versus the downside risk of increased cloud cover or earlier storms. Resolution will hinge on the official 24-hour maximum reported by the primary Denver observation site.
