**Recent National Weather Service forecasts indicate the primary driver of trader sentiment is the arrival of a cooler, drier air mass behind Friday's cold front, shifting winds to northerly then northeasterly on Saturday and limiting overnight radiative cooling.** This setup points to a minimum temperature on September 19 in the low 60s°F for Central Park, with official guidance centering on 61–63°F amid partly to mostly cloudy skies and light winds. Model consensus shows limited spread, though slight variations in cloud cover or wind speed could nudge the low a degree or two. The market's tight clustering around 60–65°F reflects this narrow uncertainty band relative to the long-term average low of 60.5°F, with traders weighting the post-frontal moderation heavily while noting potential for minor forecast adjustments before resolution.
