Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and private models indicate sunny skies and light easterly winds over Houston on September 19, supporting maximum temperatures in the mid-90s after moisture decreases behind Thursday’s storms. This setup favors strong daytime heating under clear conditions typical for late September in southeast Texas, where September averages hover near 91°F. Current model consensus points to highs near 93–95°F, with limited spread due to stable high pressure and minimal cloud cover. Traders appear to weight the lower end of that range more heavily, reflecting historical verification tendencies and minor model variability in peak timing. Updated National Weather Service briefings and next model runs will refine exact maxima ahead of market resolution.
