The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the London City Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/gb/london/EGLC. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Trader consensus on Polymarket assigns 100% implied probability to a highest temperature of 20°C in London on May 9, 2026, backed by official Met Office observations at the market's resolution station, London City Airport (EGLC), where automated weather reports recorded a peak of exactly 20°C. This aligns with mild spring conditions under a persistent high-pressure ridge fostering light easterly winds and partial cloud cover that capped solar heating, consistent with UKMO and ECMWF forecast consensus of 19–21°C ranges against the site's May climatological average of 17–18°C. UK-wide maxima reached 22.9°C farther south at Wiggonholt, but urban and coastal factors limited London. Realistic challenges are minimal post-finalization, though rare post-hoc data revisions from instrument recalibrations could theoretically alter resolution; traders await Wunderground's verified dataset for closure.
