Recent forecast models from sources including the Russian Hydrometeorological Center and GFS data show a cold front crossing Moscow after warmer conditions on September 24, shifting the region into cooler air with mostly cloudy skies and light rain possible. This supports daytime highs centered near 12–14°C on September 25, aligning with the market-implied odds favoring 13°C (40.5%). Southerly winds of 4–9 m/s and rising pressure from an approaching anticyclone ridge limit further warming, while historical September averages near 14°C provide context for the narrow distribution around 12–14°C. Minor model variations in exact peak timing introduce the modest probabilities for 12°C and 14°C outcomes.
