Forecast models and National Weather Service guidance point to a Seattle high near 70°F on September 10, 2026, driven by persistent marine-layer clouds, light onshore flow from the Pacific, and modest daytime heating under mostly overcast skies. This setup caps afternoon temperatures several degrees below the 72°F climatological average while preventing the clear, downslope warming that produced an 81°F reading the prior day. Trader consensus on the 70–71°F bin aligns with these conditions and ensemble outputs showing limited upside potential without a stronger offshore wind shift. Historical records indicate highs in this range occur frequently in early September when cloud cover dominates, supporting the current implied probabilities ahead of final observations.
