Forecast models from the National Weather Service and supporting guidance project a mostly sunny day across Seattle on September 6 with light northerly winds and a high near 71°F, aligning with the September climatological average of 72.8°F at Sea-Tac. Recent days have featured similar stable high-pressure conditions yielding daily maxima of 69–72°F, supporting the market’s heavy weighting toward the 72–73°F bin. Minor model spread and local variations in urban heat islands or afternoon timing introduce limited upside risk into the low-to-mid 70s, while minimal precipitation chances reduce the likelihood of suppressed readings. Updated NWS briefings and hourly observations tomorrow will provide the final data for market resolution.
