National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 21 project a high near 93°F under mostly sunny skies with light winds and only a slight afternoon thunderstorm chance, supporting the market concentration around 88–93°F. Recent climatological data show the region under a lingering warm air mass typical for late summer, with prior days recording highs in the low 90s and minimal cloud cover enabling strong solar heating. Model consensus indicates limited steering flow and low precipitation probability early in the day, though any earlier convective development could trim peak readings into the upper 80s. These conditions align with historical September maxima near 83°F normals while reflecting the current anomalous warmth that keeps 90–93°F bins as the dominant trader consensus.
