Recent National Weather Service forecasts and model guidance point to a modest warming trend through midweek followed by slight cooling, positioning Thursday's high temperature in San Francisco near 73–74°F under the influence of transient ridging before an approaching eastern Pacific trough increases onshore flow. This setup favors the tightly clustered market odds around 70–75°F, as coastal marine layer effects and typical September diurnal patterns limit extreme deviations while introducing forecast uncertainty from small shifts in wind direction or cloud cover. Updated NWS briefings and morning model runs will provide the next key data points before resolution.
