**Recent National Weather Service and model consensus point to a Thursday night low of 51–52°F in Seattle, aligning with the market’s leading 52–53°F bin (47% implied probability) and supporting the secondary 50–51°F outcome (27.5%).** Persistent upper-level troughing and onshore southwesterly flow have maintained a marine-influenced regime, with low stratus and cloud cover limiting nighttime radiative cooling. A frontal system arriving Thursday is expected to bring widespread rain (60–90% probability after midday) and keep temperatures from dropping sharply, consistent with climatological September lows near 51–52°F at Sea-Tac. Ensemble guidance shows modest spread, with some members allowing brief clearing that could nudge the minimum a degree or two lower, which explains the 22.5% probability assigned to 45°F or below. Warmer outliers (64°F+) reflect residual uncertainty around timing of any breaks in the cloud deck or weaker frontal effects, though official point forecasts converge tightly around the mid-50s. Traders are weighting the latest NWS guidance and short-range model runs heavily, as resolution occurs within hours and additional forecast updates will be limited before the period ends.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=ksea
This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button.
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
