Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and supporting models indicate Atlanta's September 23 high will likely fall in the lower 80s amid a midweek cooling trend, as high pressure shifts northeast and easterly flow increases moisture and cloud cover. This setup favors scattered showers or thunderstorms with 40-50% rain chances, which limits solar heating and caps daytime maxima below the prior days' upper 80s to low 90s. Trader consensus reflected in the leading 78-81°F bins aligns with this expected moderation toward seasonal norms near 83°F, while lower or higher bins price in model spread on timing and intensity of the frontal influence. Updated NWS guidance and afternoon model runs will provide the next key signals ahead of market resolution.
