**Trader consensus for Miami's highest temperature on September 21 centers on mid-to-upper 80s amid an unsettled pattern.** Official NWS forecasts and model guidance indicate scattered to numerous thunderstorms driven by deep tropical moisture (PWAT values near 2 inches) and a lingering upper-level low, with highs projected in the upper 80s and 60-90% rain chances that will likely cap afternoon heating through cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Southwest to southeast winds remain light, offering little ventilation. The spread across 86-93°F brackets reflects uncertainty in storm timing and intensity—earlier or lighter convection could allow brief peaks near 90-91°F, while heavier or earlier rain would favor the 86-89°F range. Historical September averages near 89°F provide context, but the current moisture surge tilts odds toward modest suppression relative to clear-sky potential.
