Official National Weather Service forecasts for Houston on September 24 point to a mostly sunny day with northeast winds and a high near 94°F, following several days of upper-90s readings under similar high-pressure patterns. This places the most likely maximum in the 94-95°F range, consistent with market-implied odds leading at 33 percent, though model runs show modest spread from afternoon cloud development or localized sea-breeze effects that could trim or boost the peak by a degree or two. Historical September averages near 88°F underscore the current warm anomaly, while traders weigh official station measurements against urban heat influences when distinguishing adjacent bins such as 92-93°F versus 96-97°F. Updated model guidance and evening observations will refine these probabilities before resolution.
