Current forecasts from the National Weather Service and numerical models indicate Chicago's overnight low on September 10 will likely settle in the mid-60s°F under clearing skies and moderating northwesterly flow behind a departing cold front. This aligns with the closely matched market-implied odds near 49.5% for the 62-67°F bins, as surface observations show dew points falling into the 50s and minimal cloud cover limiting radiational cooling. Historical climatology places the average low near 61°F, yet recent warmth and model spread introduce modest downside risk into the upper 50s, supporting the 49.5% on 57°F or below. Upcoming evening observations and updated model runs will refine the precise minimum before resolution.
