Latest forecast guidance points to Miami overnight lows on September 9 most likely falling in the upper 70s to low 80s, aligning with the market’s tight clustering of implied probabilities around the 76–81°F bins. Elevated humidity and scattered evening thunderstorms—common in peak Atlantic hurricane season—reduce radiative cooling under cloudy skies, while lighter east-to-southeast winds limit advection of cooler air. Model spread arises from uncertainty in convective timing and coverage, which can either trap heat or allow brief clear periods for greater temperature drops toward the 76–77°F range. Historical September 9 normals near 77°F provide context, but persistent tropical moisture this week has supported slightly warmer minima. Traders will watch the next NWS Miami forecast update and high-resolution model runs for shifts in cloud and precipitation trends.
