Recent polling from July 2026 shows Helder Barbalho (MDB) holding a clear lead for one Senate seat in Pará, leaving a fragmented field to contest second place. Traders assign Delegado Éder Mauro (PL) the highest implied probability for runner-up status, followed by Chicão and Zequinha Marinho (Podemos), with several others within striking distance in simulated scenarios. The closeness stems from a crowded ballot, limited name recognition among challengers, and the absence of decisive campaign momentum or major endorsements since the latest surveys. Upcoming candidate debates, party alliances, or shifts in voter turnout patterns in the coming months could widen gaps among contenders ahead of the October election.
