Trader consensus strongly favors an 82-83°F low in Dallas on September 18, aligning with National Weather Service observations of minimum temperatures in that range under clear, stable late-summer conditions with light winds and no significant frontal passage. Model guidance from NOAA prior to the date consistently projected overnight lows near 82°F, consistent with climatological averages for mid-September in north Texas. A modest 5.5% probability on 80-81°F reflects limited upside risk from localized cooling or measurement variance at official stations. Updated station data releases in the coming days represent the primary near-term catalyst that could refine resolution.
