**Trader consensus strongly favors the 66-67°F band for NYC’s minimum temperature on September 12, 2026, at 98% implied probability, reflecting official observations from the Central Park station (KNYC).** Mid-September climatology typically produces overnight lows near 63°F under clear or partly cloudy skies with light southerly flow. In 2026, persistent high pressure and above-normal warmth kept the air mass stable, with model guidance and preliminary climatological reports converging on a minimum of 66°F during the early-morning hours. This placed the reading roughly 3°F above the 1991–2020 average while remaining well within the observed range for recent years. The dominant outcome is supported by direct National Weather Service measurements rather than forecasts. Only a significant post-event data revision or an unrecognized microclimate effect at the official site could shift the result outside the 66-67°F interval; such changes are historically rare for this market.
