**Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and ensemble models place Atlanta’s September 10 high temperature most likely between 88 °F and 93 °F, producing the closely matched market probabilities across the 86–93 °F bins.** Recent days have featured strong high pressure and clear skies that delivered highs in the upper 80s to mid-90s, establishing a warm baseline several degrees above the late-summer climatological average of ~85 °F. The key differentiating factors are the timing and coverage of afternoon showers and thunderstorms expected Thursday: earlier or more widespread convection would increase cloud cover and limit surface heating, favoring the 86–89 °F outcomes, while delayed or isolated storms would allow greater insolation and push readings into the low 90s. Model guidance shows modest spread in boundary-layer moisture and steering flow, keeping implied odds distributed rather than concentrated. Updated NWS and short-range model runs over the next 48 hours will be the primary catalysts for any shift in trader positioning ahead of resolution.
