Forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a high near 98–99°F in Austin on September 10 under partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and elevated humidity that boosts heat index values above 105°F. This aligns with late-summer subtropical ridging and warm advection typical for central Texas in early September, when average highs reach about 92°F but recent days have trended several degrees warmer. Model consensus has remained stable over the past 24–48 hours with minimal precipitation risk, supporting the dominant 98–99°F market outcome while leaving room for minor afternoon variability or measurement differences at official stations.
