Recent Met Office and GFS model runs indicate overnight lows in London on September 17 will likely range from 11–14°C under a mix of cloudy skies, light rain early, and moderate southwesterly winds, supporting the market's strong weighting toward 14°C and 15°C as the daily minimum. These values align with climatological norms for mid-September and the current transition to a more unsettled pattern after warmer days earlier in the month. Updated forecasts show limited model spread on minimum temperatures, with any clearer overnight periods potentially allowing brief dips near 11–12°C while sustained cloud cover keeps readings higher. Traders are pricing in this consensus ahead of final observational data from official stations.
