Recent forecasts from multiple models indicate Ankara will experience clear, sunny conditions with light westerly winds and low humidity on September 11, promoting strong diurnal heating and daytime maxima centered on 31–32°C. This aligns with the market’s heavy weighting toward those outcomes, as subsidence under high pressure suppresses cloud cover and allows efficient solar warming of the elevated Anatolian plateau. A brief cool spell earlier in the week (highs near 20–23°C) is giving way to warmer advection, though model spread remains modest around the peak value. Official Turkish Meteorological Service guidance and ensemble runs will provide the next key updates before resolution.
