This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Benito Juárez International Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 23 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=mmmx To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Persistent cloud cover, widespread rain, and high humidity during Mexico City's August wet season are the main drivers keeping overnight lows tightly clustered around 11–13°C. At the city's 2,240 m elevation on the Mexican Plateau, reduced radiative cooling under overcast skies, combined with light northerly winds and frequent convective showers (70–85% probability), prevents deeper drops while also limiting daytime warming. Model consensus from meteorological services shows only modest spread in exact minimums, reflecting small differences in cloud timing, precipitation intensity, and urban heat-island effects that differentiate the closely matched 13°C, 12°C, and 11°C outcomes. Traders price this scientific uncertainty as fresh forecast updates arrive ahead of resolution.
