Trader focus on the 11°C and 12°C outcomes reflects narrow model spreads around the climatological average low of roughly 11.4°C, with small differences in dew-point depression, wind speeds near 5–7 mph, and timing of any thin cloud cover determining whether the mercury dips below or holds at 12°C. Official guidance shows limited precipitation risk and stable high pressure, keeping outcomes tightly clustered while acknowledging typical ensemble uncertainty in nocturnal boundary-layer processes.
