The Nayarit gubernatorial race for 2027 shows a fragmented field with trader odds clustered tightly around 40% for leading contenders Pavel Jarero Velázquez and Gustavo Ayón Aguirre, and lower single-digit to mid-20s figures for most others, reflecting uncertainty over party nominations and limited early polling. Morena's internal primary dynamics, including surveys favoring figures like Héctor Javier Santana García, have kept multiple aspirants viable while opposition and independent candidates position themselves. Recent candidate tours, endorsements from party founders, and public works visibility for Jarero have sustained his standing without creating separation. The absence of finalized coalitions or major surveys leaves room for shifts ahead of primaries, as voter preferences in this state election remain fluid.
