Recent polling aggregates place Labour and National as the clear frontrunners ahead of the November 7, 2026 election, leaving New Zealand First and the Greens as the primary contenders for third in party vote share. New Zealand First’s position benefits from its governing coalition role, consistent double-digit support in recent surveys, and active policy launches on issues such as dairy industry incentives and family support grants. The Greens remain competitive in the low-to-mid teens but have shown more variability. ACT, the Opportunity Party, and Te Pāti Māori trail further behind the threshold for a top-three finish in most projections. Trader pricing reflects this positioning, with uncertainty tied to final turnout among minor-party voters and any late shifts in the smaller-party race.
