Trader consensus on Polymarket prices Rafael López Aliaga and Keiko Fujimori as virtual ties for second place in Peru's April 2026 presidential election first round, both above 47%, reflecting a fragmented field where no candidate exceeds 15% in recent Ipsos and Datex polls amid over 50% undecided voters. Anti-incumbent backlash against President Dina Boluarte's low approval drives support for right-wing populists like López Aliaga, while Fujimori's established Fuerza Popular base holds steady despite past controversies. The race stays tight due to regional vote splits and undecideds shifting on economic woes like inflation; separation could emerge from upcoming candidate registrations by December, debate performances, or scandals, as traders weigh base turnout and endorsements in this high-uncertainty contest.
