**Databricks holds a narrow 58% market-implied edge over Stripe for higher valuation at year-end 2026, reflecting stronger recent momentum in AI infrastructure.** Databricks closed its Series L-2 round in August at a confirmed $190 billion post-money—up sharply from $134 billion in February—with secondary marks now implying roughly $207 billion amid accelerating revenue above a $7 billion annualized run rate and AI product contributions exceeding $1.4 billion. Stripe’s last priced tender set a $159 billion valuation in February, with current secondary levels around $184–196 billion supported by $1.9 trillion in 2025 payment volume growth and its August acquisition of OpenRouter for more than $7 billion to bolster AI monetization capabilities. Both firms benefit from robust private-market demand and potential IPO timelines, yet Databricks’ faster valuation trajectory and direct exposure to data-platform tailwinds have edged trader consensus toward it prevailing by December 31.
