This market will resolve according to the first individual officially registered to be the Vice Presidential candidate of Flavio Bolsonaro in the 2026 Brazil presidential elections. An announcement of candidate selection will not alone qualify. If Flavio Bolsonaro does not officially file a registration request to contest the 2026 Brazil presidential elections by August 15, 2026, 11:59 Brasilia time, this market will resolve to “Other”. Any subsequent substitution, replacement, withdrawal, disqualification, or other change to the initially registered vice-presidential candidate will not be considered. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the Government of Brazil, including the Superior Electoral Court (TSE, https://divulgacandcontas.tse.jus.br/).Flavio Bolsonaro’s July 2026 confirmation as the Liberal Party presidential nominee has left his vice-presidential selection unresolved, keeping implied probabilities tightly clustered among a broad field of PL federal deputies and former officials. Trader consensus reflects ongoing internal negotiations and repeated setbacks in recruiting higher-profile figures, including unsuccessful overtures to centrist allies such as Tereza Cristina. With the October general election approaching and no single name consolidating support, market prices for leading options like Rogério Marinho, Simone Marquetto, and Marcos Pontes remain in the mid-30s percent range, while numerous other names sit near 50 percent. Any formal announcement, party convention decision, or shift in coalition dynamics could rapidly separate the field before ballots are cast.
