Latest numerical weather prediction models from the National Weather Service and NOAA consensus place Dallas highs for September 21 in the mid-90s, driving the market's tight clustering around 94–97°F outcomes. Key differentiating factors include the strength and timing of any weak frontal boundary or return flow moisture from the Gulf, which could suppress or enhance afternoon temperatures by a few degrees, alongside typical late-September insolation and urban heat island effects. Ensemble spreads remain modest this close to the date, with resolution hinging on official Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport observations. Traders will watch the next model cycles and any updated local forecasts for shifts in these variables.
