Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent forecasts from multiple models and the Meteorological Service Singapore indicate a daily maximum near 31–32°C for September 19, aligning with September’s long-term average high of 31.6°C under prevailing southwest monsoon conditions. Localized thundery showers are possible in the afternoon, but overall rainfall is expected near normal with limited cooling effect. The first half of September featured frequent highs above 34°C, yet current guidance shows stabilization around the seasonal norm rather than continued extreme heat. Market-implied odds heavily favor 32°C as the most probable outcome, reflecting consensus in short-range model runs and the narrow historical range for daily maxima in mid-September. Updated official forecasts tomorrow will provide the key data point ahead of resolution.
