Recent National Weather Service guidance and ensemble model runs point to partly cloudy conditions with onshore flow resuming Friday, limiting daytime heating and anchoring Seattle's September 19 high near the historical average of 69–70°F. Marine air moderated by Puget Sound and the thermal trough's inland push create the narrow spread across 66–71°F bins, as even modest increases in low-level stratus or wind shifts can trim or add a degree or two. Traders weigh the balance between lingering ridge influence and the return of typical fall onshore regimes, with resolution hinging on afternoon observations at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
