**Official National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas on September 9, 2026, call for sunny, hot conditions with a high near 101°F and heat indices reaching 106°F under a strong upper-level ridge.** South winds of 5–10 mph will limit mixing while advecting moisture, sustaining elevated dew points that amplify apparent temperatures without triggering widespread convection. This aligns with the market’s heavy weighting toward 98–101°F outcomes, reflecting model consensus on minimal cloud cover and continued subsidence. Recent days have already delivered multiple 100–102°F readings amid a prolonged dry spell and heat advisory, well above the 1991–2020 September 9 average high of roughly 91–92°F. With resolution tied to official daily maximum observations, traders appear to discount any late-day cooling or isolated storm potential that could cap the peak below 98°F.
