Persistent heat across North Texas, with recent daily highs of 101–102°F on September 8–9, sets the stage for September 10 conditions in Dallas. National Weather Service and private forecasts converge on a sunny to partly cloudy day with afternoon highs near 98–101°F, though scattered thunderstorms could cap peak readings. Heat indices may reach 106–107°F under light southerly flow. The market's strong weighting toward 98–99°F reflects trader assessment of model consensus and typical afternoon convective timing, while the modest probability for 100–101°F accounts for drier scenarios. Historical September averages near 91°F underscore the anomalous warmth, with resolution hinging on official DFW-area maximum observations.
