Recent polling averages place The Democrats, the left-leaning slate headed by Yair Golan and formed from Labor-Meretz remnants, at 8-10 Knesset seats ahead of the October 27 election. Latest surveys from mid-to-late September show results clustered in that band, with some variation driven by sampling differences and modest shifts among centrist and opposition voters. The party’s surplus-vote agreement with Yashar provides a modest technical buffer but does not alter its core support base. Trader pricing reflects this narrow range and the broader tightness of the Zionist opposition bloc, which itself sits just short of a majority in most aggregates. Further movement could follow additional published polls, final list approvals, or late campaign events that alter turnout among secular and center-left voters.
