Alexander Frusina faces Evan Zhu in the second round of the ITF M25 Dallas on hard courts. The 20-year-old Frusina, currently ranked outside the ATP top 1,400, enters on strong recent form after a straight-sets first-round win and brings college-level experience with notable wins against higher-ranked opponents. Zhu, a 27-year-old with a career-high ranking of 271, holds a higher current standing near 692 but has shown inconsistent results in recent lower-tier events. With no prior head-to-head meetings, the contest hinges on Frusina’s momentum and youth against Zhu’s experience in a closely matched encounter where either player can advance.
